SAIT hosts two semi-annual career fairs to connect our students and alumni with potential employers. Our next career fair will take place on March 7 and 8, 2017. It’s time to polish up that resume. Vol State will be hosting dozens of area employers for the Spring Job Career Fair this Wednesday, April 19. The fair provides an opportunity for job seekers to talk directly with the people responsible for hiring. Participants are encouraged to bring several copies of their resumes. Everyone is invited to attend. Many new MTs see that companies require 2+ years experience to be hired and pass that company by without bothering to test with them. It is important to understand the reason why companies say that is because they don’t want people applying who have no training. Yes, they do prefer that you have a couple of years experience, but they will still hire you if you do well on their tests and interview.
If you’re interested pickup a book and download a free compiler. See if you are interested, if you can pick it up and you enjoy it. If so then you may want to consider going into it. This one doesn’t add to the actual game play, but it’s definitely a must-have if you’re a generations-type player, or anyone who plays the game for more than a few days.

There are many jobs in the BPO sector such as those that require you to attend calls, or to make calls, for customer support, for making sales, or also for customer retention or for collection of dues. And then there are jobs which are commonly known as back office jobs, team leader position, and other higher level jobs. While you may view graphic design as a career where your time is entirely spent making beautiful things truly much of our time is spent organizing information, checking margins and specs, and nitpicking details. How will those who do not attend college, or who end up not finishing college, make a connection to jobs that offer a genuine career path: that is, reasonably stable paychecks, building skills and responsibilities over time, wage raises, and health care and retirement benefits? The most popular answer is that public policy should encourage more of these students should attend college, but I’m skeptical about that answer. Before getting a good job, everyone needs to try many other jobs. To me, one of the best moments to try initial careers is student time. Indeed, this is the best period in human’s life to absorb knowledge and get experience. For some reasons, I think students should take a part-time job. In my opinion, part-time jobs have a lot of advantages. To begin with, they help us become independent and responsible, so if you do not want to live off your parents the whole life, looking for a temporary job is the best option. We are currently doing our best to help a friend who has become homeless. He defaulted on his mortgage, and despite finding a solution before the hearing, the judge said the Building Society could foreclose. He had only a week to get out and bailiffs came round and smashed up his crockery and personal possessions before the time was even up! It is an awful situation to be in, his parents are dead, he is estranged from his brother…. nowhere else to turn but friends. Nobody should condemn the homeless.
